My life in guitarmaking began long before I ever picked up a chisel, as I spent my early years performing live music. Eventually, that fascination (and my garage full of dad's tools) led me behind the scenes and into the craft of building the instruments themselves.
I attended the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery, where I developed a foundation in traditional instrument making and discovered just how much possibility exists within that world. Only six months after graduating, I debuted my company at The NAMM Show 2025, which took place amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. I chose to donate the profits from that debut to animal charities helping those affected, a beginning that felt deeply representative of what I want my work to be about: craftsmanship with purpose.
My pursuit of guitarmaking as an art form led me to study with renowned inlay artist Grit Laskin, where I further developed my skills in inlay artistry and learned to approach the guitar not simply as an instrument, but as a canvas.
Today, my focus is on creating playable artwork: completely one-of-a-kind instruments designed around the individual client. I believe a guitar can be both an exceptional musical instrument and a deeply personal work of art that tells a story, carries meaning, and could belong to no one else. Every custom build begins with that idea. Rather than simply decorating an existing instrument, I work with each client to translate their stories, passions, memories, and ideas into a piece that is uniquely theirs.
My goal is to create guitars that are not only beautiful to look at, but genuinely wonderful to play, and, most importantly, impossible to replicate.
